About Stella
Hello, I’m Stella and I am a Rapid Transformational Therapist and a Clinical Hypnotherapist. I help people free themselves from their pain, both emotional and chronic, so that they may live a vibrant, fulfilling and healthy life.
I discovered RTT after five long years of chronic pain, which started after a car accident. I went from leading a successful life in the corporate world to almost being bed ridden. I fought debilitating pain every day for years. I was taking incredibly high doses of prescription drugs and was still in pain. I had numerous medical procedures on my back and nerves and several major operations, but I was still in pain. In fact, it started to spread and it kept getting worse.
I was so desperate I started trying ‘complementary’ forms of therapy. By that point I would have tried anything. Hypnotherapy was the most effective and it was while I was researching hypnotherapy techniques that I came across Marisa Peer, a renowned therapist, who created Rapid Transformational Therapy. I decided to give RTT a try and I had a huge breakthrough. That was the beginning of my recovery and the start of my RTT journey.
I was so relieved and impressed with the way that RTT had turned my life around that, once I was well enough, I trained as an RTT Therapist with Marisa, so that I could give others their life back too.
Since then my mission has been to provide a safe space for people in pain to explore and release the feelings that contribute to their pain and help them to take their power back and own their recovery. I have devoted the last few years to learning more about and understanding chronic pain.
I now live a life that was merely a dream before that car accident, and I certainly could not have ever imagined this life during the years that immediately followed the accident: I have a job I love, I live in a country I love, I go for long walks almost every morning, swim, exercise, socialise and I enjoy life. I have risen above chronic pain and started living again – and I am here to show you how you can too!
Why Rapid Transformational Therapy
RTT was designed to provide rapid relief and permanent change from emotional and psychological (and therefore some physical) pain by accessing deep rooted core beliefs that have been aquired (often unknowingly) in childhood and beyond, giving rise to learned behaviours and habits which live in our subconscious mind.
Many of these beliefs no longer serve us as adults. Dr Henry Maudsey, a prominent British psychiatrist said “The sorrow which has no vent in tears may make other organs weep” or as Dr Van Der Kolk, a well known psychiatrist, author, researcher and educator puts it in the title of his best selling book “The body keeps the score” and Deb Shapiro, a leading authority on the mind body relationship, says “Your body speaks your mind”. There is increasing evidence that pain and emotion are intrinsically linked.
RTT gets to the root cause easily and quickly and allows us to heal these emotional wounds, usually in one to three sessions (depending on the condition, occasionally more sessions are required) so you can forget having sessions week after week, month after month, year after year, with no end in sight – no-one has time for that! An RTT session is a bit like upgrading the software on your computer. It upgrades your subconsious mind, so that it serves you, as an adult. We upgrade our computers all the time, why wouldn’t we do the same to our minds?
Please note, that as a Rapid Transformational Therapist, I facilitate your healing, but you have to be prepared to participate in your recovery…
What is Rapid Transformational Therapy
Rapid Transformational Therapy, or RTT, is a contemporary, pioneering therapy, based on neuroscience and it draws upon powerful, solution focused techniques including hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, NLP and CBT.
It was developed over 30 years by Marisa Peer. RTT works by rapidly rewiring the neural pathways of the brain, replacing out-dated belief systems (that are no longer useful to us) and negative patterns of behaviour, with new supportive, positive life affirming beliefs, which begin the healing process, using the power of the subconscious mind. Early on, in childhood, we learn to navigate the world with our conscious mind, but change directed by the conscious mind has limits.
Willpower alone is often not enough to break the chain of bad habits, fears or ‘looping thoughts’. By working at the subconscious level, RTT lays down new pathways or connections between neurons and as new pathways are strengthened (by listening to your recording), new behaviours, that serve us as adults, become second nature.
